My Lady, in your changefulness you are constant!
The logo of Columbia Pictures began as an initialized logo, 'CBC', in 1919, which stands for Cohn-Brandt-Cohn Film Sales, and changed to 'Columbia Pictures' only in 1928. The name 'Columbia' dates all the way back to 1783, when it was chosen to covertly represent America in the weekly publication, forbidden by law, of the debates of the British Parliament. Despite changes in accessories, colours and rhetoric, see how constant she remains through the years from 1928 onward.
